Crackling Lichen
There is a blessedly easy way to know if the lightning-struck coral you find is fit for tea, without costing damage to the coral: if a light scrape produces sparks, that piece can be further scraped for its ingredient.
Wyrmroot
{WEERM-root)
When chopping up this root for tea, the smaller the bits the stronger the flavor - any severing of the root leads to a defense response in that piece of root, a kind of a concentration into itself, that leads to significantly more potent flavor. Just remember to give those pieces a minute or three in order for the concentration to really occur.
X'a-che stalk
{ks-AY-ah-cheh)
Use the top 1/3 of the stalk for a stronger flavor.
