NaoLaLan Ia {now-LAH-lahn EE-ah}
historic hume of the planet Oraea
Inventor and researcher whose methods of sap extraction and tisane creation are most referenced most often, and who is most credited with opening the current long-going chapter in Oraea's more metropolitan tisane cultures - not to mention the contributions he made to Oraea's suite of oscillation/frequency technologies.
Originally from LuBaea Lin, a small forest that slopes away from the mountains that hold Lake Diamanthylis and links them to the sea; experimented as he wandered the voluminous rollicking jungle of AnreoraAnraeora; rambled in a haze of new tastes and scents and saps amidst the Diamond Trees of Randrahir; and finally settled for his first metropolis spell in the classical port of Iqelminaemon, alongside the artfully reconstructed coastal forest called Sahm Hje.
From there, and for the rest of his life, he enjoyed hosting cultural salons across a migrating circuit of the metropolises that bound that small central sea shaped by the meeting of Oraea's major continents. This means that at one time or another he lived in - and some degree of directly influenced - the beings and cultures of the ports of Veraean, Emel Semya, Clavec, Avclere, Alcah, and Embrialma.
Ia is also and especially credited for tapping a vein of repressed humor in the humes of Oraea; who were, at the beginning, rigidly sanctimonious about their tisane ceremonies.
This led to an expansion and dimensionalisation of those ceremonies across Oraea, with diverse interpretations of methodologies emerging as students galore explored NaoLaLan's methods for tea-based transmutations - and so encountered the active and present natural world around them in entirely new and lively ways.
