These are also the ethos of our universe.
And of all our stories.
Space Grandma is a human-like being of that star cluster known (on Earth) as the Pleiades,
who travels our cosmos with zir friends in in a sentient tea house seeking ingredients, stories, kindness, and beauty.
Overseen (with much and great help) by Grandma’s long-time collaborator Rover Three,
The Living Codex is a collection of art, stories, poems, sayings, songs, myths, lore, histories, mysteries, and more,
all created or gathered by Space Grandma and friends from across all kinds of adventures.
The Pleiades are, after all, a cornucopic and diverse ecosystem of languages, cultures,
experiences, perspectives, connections, recollections, questions, suggestions, and much, much more.
This is a gathering of some of those. Written, spoken, remembered by every kind of communicating being living on many
a planet and moon, from their sharpest shadows to their most shining suns, and all the lands and waters and spheres between.
Everything here was originally expressed in a range of languages unknown to Earth,
by all kinds of beings from all across our cosmos, both past and present.
These words and works are now - and for the very first time - translated here into the languages of Earth.
As we gather more and translate more,
and further finesse the expressive nuances of our translative capacities,
we may find it fit to revise or refine what you see here.
This Codex is as alive as any of us, ever growing and evolving!
