The Hyperborluminous Heart    {HIE-per-bore-LOOM-ih-nuss   HART}

possible location in the cosmos

A location only fabled to exist.

If it does exist - and again, that possible existence is only a suggestion

that comes as a kind of inevitable conclusion after following certain premises through to their logical ends - the seven most prominent ideas as to what The Heart is are, in no particular order, as follows:

1. a physical place

2. a coalescement of light on a singular wavelength

3. the transitory alignment of light along every wavelength

4. the radiatory source of all light that can be seen by all eyes combined

5. the where to where our cosmos are stretching

6. some sort of cosmic forge of alchemical transmutation that allows matter within its boundaries to be reorganized at will by capable consciousness

7. or, perhaps most tantalizingly, it is the very center of a previous multiverse which somehow survived the metamorphosis process that birthed our own

For the group of young adventurers who ventured out from Gloam in the infamous expedition captained by Gloavannon, they connected The Hyperborluminous Heart with their own modification of Gloam's unique Vast Body Theory - believing, as with their captain, that the Hyperborluminous Heart was actually the heart of a great decaying Being - the great Being they saw our universe to be. A heart which they believed they could, then and therefore, perhaps yet re-awaken.

Through extensive inventive recalibrations of their own eyes and lenses, they claimed to have actually glimpsed the Hyperborluminous Heart, and so set off on a journey that remains controversial. Through the modified telescopes they left behind they were glimpsed twice after they left. On the third viewing, ninety nine years after their departure, they were not seen.

We do not know what they found,  if they were right – or, if we proceed with the hypothesis that they were right, whether or not they even succeeded.

Here is their final transmission:

“We believe love is finding someones you want to wander hand and hand with into the dark. And then make light.”
